During his concert tour in China in 2012, Alexander Suleiman gave master classes at 7 out of the 9 conservatories in China. As a result, the newly established School of Music at the Soochow University has appointed Mr Suleiman Professor of Cello in 2013 to bring his talents and expertise to Asia. Despite a busy schedule Mr. Suleiman makes time to serve as a member of the music advisory board of the Young Musicians Foundation and the board of directors of the Los Angeles Violoncello Society. With many years of teaching experience, Alexander Suleiman is a dedicated and much sought after teacher. In addition he constantly searches for young talents and mentors their development and improvement. He has many years of teaching experience as a Professor of Cello at the University of Southern California (USC). His activities as a teacher include master courses at various festivals and universities all over the world, including the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, the Central Conservatory of Music, Beijing, the Duxbury Music Festival in Boston (Massachusetts), the Young Artist Experience (YAE) Festival at the University of British Columbia, (UBC) in Vancouver, the Edward Said Music Conservatory in Jerusalem, the University of Music and Dance Pyonyang, the Sommerakademie in Neuburg an der Donau, the Oleg Kagan Music Festival, and the China Conservatory of Music, amongst others. Due to his commitment and success of developing and mentoring the upcoming generations of musicians Alexander Suleiman is frequently invited to be a judge in numerous national and international music competitions.  Most recent activities as a member of jury panels include the Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld International String Competition in Hong Kong and the China International Violin and Bow Making Competition in Beijing.
