Two worlds collide: Traditional western music with Bach’s suites for cello solo is searching for a counterpart in the traditional dance culture of Thailand. Both of them will demonstrate how these two worlds can inspire each other.

Entstanden sind die drei Arbeiten der Malerin Susanne Pohl während eines Kurses der Malschule Chamäleon, die seit Januar die neuen Räumlichkeiten in der Oberen Altstadt bezogen hat.
Inspiriert wurde die Malerin von der Musik Alexander Suleimans. Man mag nun beinahe von Schicksal sprechen, dass der vielfach ausgezeichnete Cellist, der derzeit eigentlich in Bremen weilt, von der Neuburger Kulturnacht und dem Ausstellungsprojekt im Loiblhaus erfuhr und sich ganz spontan entschloss, am Samstag zu kommen. Ab 20.30 Uhr wird Suleiman für eine halbe Stunde zu Susanne Pohls Bildern aus seiner aktuellen CD spielen.
Diese heißt passenderweise nicht nur „Out of the blue“, also aus heiterem Himmel, sondern sie ist auch für den Vierteljahrespreis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik im Bereich Grenzgänge nominiert. Der Eintritt zu dem Kurzkonzert ist, wie allen Veranstaltungen bei WortKlangBild, frei.
